Meet Your Instructor - Travis Schneider


OLDEST BROTHER AND FOUNDER OF STUCK N THE RUT- Raised in an adventurous family, he hunts alongside his family eagerly willing to accept all challenges the wilderness has to offer. At age 7 he tagged along with his dad, bugling elk with his vocals.

By the time he was 13, he killed his first 6 point pull elk in the mountains, solo. Even at a young age, Travis never waited for others to help him get the job done. Since then his #1 passion has been hunting, and he constantly tagged out on six point bulls for 20 years straight, both archery and rifle.

Travis works hard for 10 months building homes, and hunts harder the rest. In 2010, Travis started videoing their hunts with family and friends.

Since, the SNTR has produced over 180 DIY hunting episodes on their YouTube and they are as real as they get. Travis is grateful and fortunate to be so close with his family and hunt together.

He has a lot to say about siblings and brother-in-law Adam and can’t remember a single time when any of the have fought over who would be the shooter on an animal. We take turns and help each other succeed.
